If at all possible, The Pink Noise out of Toronto would be an event that took place between the first Modern Lovers recordings and a bunch of dope fueled nights in some Lower East Side loft listening to the theme from Beverley Hills Cop 1978 to 1982. They bring to mind strange romantic notions of times long gone, or that never were on this fantastic 14 song LP recorded through the years 2005 to 2007. Thanks to the good people (person?) at the young upstart label Sacred Bones, this broken, cold gloom wave pop has seen the light of day.
