Quite possibly one of the best events of 2007 for me was watching These Are Powers turn a church basement show into a glimpse of what a dance party in Hades might look like. Now news comes that the band has found a label to help spread their sound that is both beautiful and terrifying all across the globe. It was announced the group has signed to Dead Oceans. Part of the Secretly Canadian (Jens Leckman, Black Mountain, Okkervil River, Etc.) family. The label announced the re-release of their Tarot Tarot and Terrific Sessions EP's on October 7th in the USA and October 6th in the UK. To be followed up by an LP in 2009.
