Is it really necessary to for this band to call themselves The Muslims?
As a Jew, I am deeply disturbed by the prospects of this band getting big and some Mullah declaring that this band is a product of the Jewish Devil and are mocking Allah. All out holy war begins because some four piece from San Diego re-released this album to all sorts of hype.
All I know is that if I'm going down, it won't be because a poorly named band decided to play music that everybody was jocking 7 years ago while trying to ride the "lo-fi" gravy train.
I can't believe it's 2008, and I am even thinking of using the term "bad Strokes rip-off."
