Reviewing: It's Okay Not to Care

Icy Demons
Miami Ice
Obey Your Brain

I have not been able to find out exactly what irked me so much about Man Mans most recent release Rabbit Habits.
Quite possibly, the fact that Tom Waits already pretty much tread the territory they are now trying to claim as their own?
It's something I can't quite figure out, and to be honest, I don't care to waste anymore time trying.

Now I get to try and get into the side project of Man Man member Pow Pow (that was the worst sentence I have ever written) Icy Demons. A task I don't feel totally okay with.

To really try and break apart Miami Ice could easily become somewhat of a redundant task.
Put simply, Icy Demons create a less abrasive version of what Man Man are doing. Where Man Man is the bread and butter, Icy Demons would just seem like a somewhat indulgent dessert.
Maybe people could get into that, and I understand if they do, but I think I will skip out on the pie, and the meal altogether.

As a fan of trying to find a solution, I would suggest giving more of your time to Six Finger Satellite, as they were way better at this sound over a decade ago.

Man Man? You mean the dayglo experiment gone wrong and given instruments to make up for it?
