This album is sort of like a bunch of shitty alt-country but done totally right. All those times you wanted to like that Pete Yorn song (whatever it’s called) but you didn’t because you saw the video and realized Yorn is a total yob, here is your vindication.


Maybe call it alt-shoegazer, or something dumb like that?

Wagonwheel Blues will fuck with you on like 18 different levels. The perfect example comes on the 6th track “Needle in your Eye #16” where the band somehow manages to cross breed Spacemen 3 with “Dancing in the Dark” by The Boss.
